There are few markets in the world more colorful and fascinating than these in South America. The descendents of the Incas have presence. Particularly the women, when garbed traditionally.

 

The Candy Man? Close. This one sells what is popular the world over, sugar cane juice.

 

Outside of the Witches Market hall. I actually did walk around in it and through it, but did not spend a lot of time. I don't like the enclosed situation and prefer the open-air markets.

 

One lingers until they take delivery and open shop. Then the bread is still warm.

Hiding problem with texture, but nonetheless, here as in and around the Spice Market in Istanbul, the poorest of the species hire themselves out as human mules to carry pretty much anything that needs to be moved.

 

There is a big plaze down the street from the hotel, and this is what was going on there. Smart drivers know to avoid these roundabouts. However, taxis, buses, and colectivos to go here and do the expected brisk business.
